Estate of Acclaimed Professor Offers Free Research Books
(PRWEB) November 5, 2006 -- Sex research books are available for free to qualified researchers from the Bullough Family trust. There are over six hundred books dealing with different aspects of sex remaining. These books are provided for free from the private collection of Vern Bullough.
The majority of Vern Bullough's sex books and papers have been provided to the Vern and Bonnie Bullough special collection at Oviatt Library at California State University Northridge. There are the duplicates in several areas of study, mostly sexuality. Vern Bullough was a distinguished professor emeritus at the State University of New York (SUNY), an Outstanding Professor in the California State University, a past president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, past Dean of natural and social sciences at the SUNY College in Buffalo, New York, and one of the founders of the American Association for the History of Nursing. Audio books - is the paper book really dead?
When I first heard of audio books in the 80?s they were mostly mentioned as being a good alternative for the sight impaired. An ugly green plastic box of cassettes at the library is my first memory of audio books, so speech books as they were known.
