Author Mary R. Butler Announces 'Free Books for Your Book Club' Giveaway

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 7, 2008 -- Today, author Mary R. Butler, announced that she is sponsoring a free book club giveaway of her new novel "A Kiss in the Dark." Three lucky book clubs will be selected as the contest winners and will receive up to 12 books each. A Kiss in the Dark chronicles the lives of two men and their struggle with friendship. Abandoned as a child by his father, Billy finds solace in his good friend Travis and Travis' family. The two boys are inseparable as they share each other's pains and joys from childhood to manhood.

As a man, Billy has created a successful life for himself. He is a successful lawyer with material possessions to prove it and he is engaged to what he believes is the perfect woman. However, Billy is even more successful at being a womanizer. Still, Billy's perfect life is unable to extinguish the burning hate that he has for his father; nor, does his perfect life protect him from a fatal deception.

Travis, Billy's best friend, is trying to live for God but continually compromises his beliefs for the sake of friendship. Yet, Travis harbors a burning secret that, if revealed, promises to destroy the bond that he and Billy have had since childhood.

Mary R. Butler is an author, playwright, and comedian. She recently released her first humor book called "Mama Peavy says, "Women, It's OK to Marry an Ugly Man." She is producing her first comedy show that will begin touring in Spring 2008. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband.
